The scope of this project is to provide all design build services, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, and all other resources necessary to upgrade pneumatic tube system in Building 1 at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Contractor will be required to remove and replace headend computers, upgrade operating system, and programing in accordance with the requirements of the project.

Estimated Target Completion Period: 360 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Magnitude of construction is between $2,000 000 and $5,000,000.00. NAICS: 236220. Size Standard is $36.5 Million.

This is a design-build project/solicitation that will use the trade off selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 5, 2018.

Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications. In addition, contractors should incorporate pollution prevention and waste minimization into operations.
