Repair of Rotary Coupler/ Antenna applicable to the AN/ APY 1/2 system
This is a notice of intent that Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC)/PZABA- Robins anticipates issuing a four (4) year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Requirements type contract, to include a 12 month Basic period and three (3) additional 12 month Option periods, for a depot level repair capability for the specified components in support of the AN/ APY 1/2 system, as follows: NSN: 5985-01-061-0445 P/N: 20500-2 & 425R509G01 Noun: Coupler, Rotary BEQs: 1/1/1/1 EA; NSN: 5985-01-530-6304 P/N: 20500-3 Noun: Coupler, Rotary BEQs: 1/1/1/1 EA; NSN: 5985-01-522-6376 P/N: 1905A Noun: Coupler, Rotary BEQs: 1/1/1/1 EA; NSN: 5985-01-593-8954 P/N: 1905CF Noun: Coupler, Antenna BEQs: 1/1/1/1 EA. There are four input NSNs (5985-01-522-6376, 5985-01-530-6304, 5985-01-061-0445, and 5985-01-593-8954); however, there will be a single final delivered configuration output of NSN 5985-01-593-8954; P/N 1905CF. The Government cannot predetermine the inputs at this time; as a result, the best estimated quantity is 1 of each input NSN per year, with a total of 4 rotary antennas to be delivered in the final configuration per year.
Delivery Schedule: The required turnaround time is to be negotiated.
Duration of Contract: Any services to be furnished under the anticipated resultant contract shall be ordered by issuance of task orders. Such orders may be issued from date of contract award through 12 months, except as extended by the exercise of options. Performance under the contract shall be through completion of all orders.

Source(s): The intended source for this acquisitions is Continental Microwave and Tool Co., Inc. DBA: Cobham Antenna Systems Microwave Components (CAGE: 66544), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
