The contract will be a firm fixed price effort with a period of performance of one (1) year. The required delivery schedule is "After Receipt of Reparable Asset, delivery not to exceed thirty (30) days for standard repairs and fifteen (15) days for Surge/MICAP requirements."
The approximate Solicitation Issue Date will be 12 January 2018 with a Response Date of 22 January 2018. The solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone or fax requests will be honored. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Restricted to Cubic Defense Applications, Inc. (CAGE 94987).
The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
