Repair of JSECST
The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price modification under purchase order N68335-16-P-0585 to AAI CORPORATION, d/b/a Textron Systems Electronic Systems, Hunt Valley, MD (CAGE: 97384) to provide repair services for the inspection, calibration, labor and materials necessary to restore parts associated with the Joint Service Electronic Combat System Tester (JSECST), (P/N: 4920-01-461-6316) to operational condition and to ensure Fleet readiness. AAI Corporation is the designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the JSECST and the repair services to be provided by the OEM are the only know repair services that will meet operational and reliability requirements as well as have the capability to fully integrate with the JSECST. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
