Repair and Resurface Parade Entrance
This project will renew the existing Pentagon River Terrace parade entrance. The contractor will be asked to perform construction services to repair and resurface approximately 27,200 S.F of concrete side walk at the River Terrace Parade Ground. All labors, materials, applications, and equipment necessary for the repair and resurfacing shall be provided by the contractor as a turn-key project. The scope of work will include the following: v-grinding and repair all concrete cracks, replacement of existing epoxy, diamond grind entire 27,200 SF River Terrace Parade Ground side walk with 30 grit diamonds, application of equal to or better than HP Spartacote vinyl chips, application of low VOC primer, application of high performance polyaspartic coating, and a finish diamond coat.
This project will provide support for WHS facilities in the National Capital Region (NCR). WHS maintains and operates DoD facilities in the NCR. Safety engineering will be required to ensure that regulations and standards are implemented at NCR facilities. WHS’ goal is to ensure that all construction and installations are in compliance to provide a safe working environment for DoD personnel and contractors. It is anticipated that the majority of the work will be performed at the Pentagon located in Arlington, VA. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15.0 million average annual receipts.
