Repair and Maintenance of CATERPILLAR C-280 DIESEL ENGINES

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. You are required to provide a proposal in accordance with the solicitation package. This solicitation is Unrestricted.
Solicitation No. W912P8-14-R-0032 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811310 and the size standard is 7.0M.
REQUIREMENT:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has a requirement for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshoot, analysis, overhaul and repair services of four Governments owned, CATERPILLAR C-280 DIESEL ENGINES installed aboard the vessel Dredge Wheeler. The contract will be for a base year plus 4 optional years. Contractor's must read solicitation package thoroughly and comply with ALL requirements.

NOTES:
1) Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
2) Offerors must provide Representations and Certifications for their company. The preferred method for providing Reps & Certs is to include this information in your SAM registration. Offerors who do not include their Reps & Certs in their SAM registration, must print complete and include FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - with their proposal package.
