Repair and Maintenance Service of Chiller System at DoDEA New Elementatry School, Fort Buchanan
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Johnson Controls, 45 Diana St., Amelia Industrial Park, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The proposed action is for the repair and maintenance of existing Chiller System located at DoDEA New Elementary School, Building 700, Fort Buchanan. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document will be posted for this requirement. Interested parties may submit technical capability statement along with business profile to Paula Claudio, Contracting Officer, at paula.claudio.civ@mail.mil by 2:00 PM ET, June 24, 2019. All statements received by the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to initiate a competitive solicitation based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The determination not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
