COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION: Maintenance and repair services on environmental equipment located at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, Texas

Description:
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii) The solicitation number is 36C256-18-Q-0636 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ)

(iii) The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-98 & 2005-95 (effective 05/31/18). Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations supplement (VAAR) can be accessed on the Internet at http://www.arnet.gov/far (FAR) and http://vaww.appc1.va.gov/oamm/vaar (VAAR)

(iv) This solicitation is issued as Full and Open Competition. This is a lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811198, Maintenance and Repair on List of Environmental Services Equipment and the size standard is $7.5M

(v) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for purchase of the following services: Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, tools, equipment, material, personnel, supervision, and transportation required for maintenance and repair on environmental services equipment at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC), 2002 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77030.

(vi) Description of requirement is as followed: Contractor shall perform quarterly maintenance and repair services to environmental equipment during the specified time coordinated with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). All work shall be in compliance with the herein performance work statement (PWS) and other terms and conditions of the contract.

The tentative period of performance is 09/01/2018 08/31/2021.
