Repair and Calibration of liquid particle counters
Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to award a Sole Source contract to Beckman Coulter, Inc., 250 S Kraemer Blvd., Brea, CA, 92821. Bourn & Koch, Inc., is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and only authorized provider of repairs and calibration services for the liquid particle counters. Beckman Coulter, Inc. will provide all management, labor, transportation, tools, replacement parts, and preventative maintenance kit to perform an annual maintenance, refurbishment, calibration, and certification on the Blanchard machine and warranty work if necessary.
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability and technical capability of large and small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required products and/or services.
The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility is seeking information from potential sources to provide semiannual preventive maintenance and instrument calibration to ensure performance to specifications for three (3) liquid particle counting systems. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price contract and intends to award on or about 01 July 2019.
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis only. This is not a request for proposals. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit. Responses must be submitted in writing no later than 24 December 2018 0700 HST to the below individuals. Telephone responses and requests will not be received. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
