Repair Taxiway Signs
Existing taxi signs on the Vance Air Force Base airfield have reached the end of their service life. Existing fixtures and panels will be replaced with new fixtures and new panels. New transformers will be required for the new signs. Refer to Sign Schedule for panel information. Three signs require panel replacement only. Work and equipment must be in accordance with the current Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-535-01. New fixtures will be attached to existing
concrete pads. Some existing concrete pads may require extension in-kind, pending the actual size of the sign used, see material section below. See Project Specifications Section 01 10 00 Summary of Work, and Section 26 56 20.00 10 for sign and transformer specifications.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS:
The Contractor awarded will need to provide information to have business set up for payment. Also will need to fill out forms for Reps & Certs, W-9, & Authorization Agreement For Vendor Automatic Electronic Funds Transfer. If you are large business you will need to be set up on 45 days net terms and small business will be 30 days Net terms.
Pre-Bid to look at the site is scheduled on 27 Aug 19 at 10:00 AM Central time zone. Please notify teddy.thomas@.ctr@us.af.mil 72 hours in advance by providing your full name, date of birth, state, and driver license for base access. Award will be contingent upon approval of funds, reference checks, D&B rating, and low cost acceptable.
