ASRC Federal Communications (ASRCC), is contemplating the issue of solicitation IFB211B for MBEB 15-1017 Repair North & South RCS Generators-Kegelman Auxiliary Airfield. ASRCC General Previsions and FAR Flowdown Provisions for Subcontracts and Federal Supplement II terms and conditions will apply to the award.  There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government or ASRC should funding not be provided. ASRC should this solicitation be canceled or rejected in the absence of funding no contract will result. Upon funding, to be considered for award of this project a contractor must have satisfactory previous experience in the types of work contained in this solicitation and have a successful track record performing the types of work contained in the project? Vance AFB also has strict Base access regulations and commercial inspections are mandatory with each entry to the facility. The acceptance period for this action will be 90 days and contractors should consider this impact to their bonding limits prior to bidding the solicitation.  This project consists of providing all materials and labor to install two backup generators, two automatic transfer switches (ATS), and to construct the electrical connections to the existing loads which must be provided power from this equipment.  This work will include, at a minimum, two diesel powered electrical generators sets; two automatic transfer switches; conduit installed in trenches to the new ATS at the North RCS, and on the surface on the concrete pad of the South RCS; all conductors and connections; overcurrent and surge protective equipment; and switches and controls.  Existing cutout switches will continue in their present function.  Existing power cable from cutout switches to panelboards will not be changed.  Finally, new notification devices must be installed and connected at both RCS,' which will be programmed to notify personnel off-site of generator start-up and shut-down.
