DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: This is a Design-Build project. The Scope of the work is the complete replacement of the existing utilities (mechanical and electrical) serving the launderette, including the removal of the existing steam boiler that shall be replaced with a new electrical substation MV/LV in order to feed the new electrical equipment; hot water production shall be realized with new heat pump, solar panels and electric resistances. Additional repair shall be made to the facility.


METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This is a Request for Proposal resulting in a Firm-Fixed Price type contract.


ISSUANCE OF SOLICITATION: 23 May 2017


RESPONSE DATE: 26 June 2017, 12:00 PM (GMT+01:00, Rome) (Due-in date for the submittal of offer)


PERFORMANCE PERIOD:
The project shall be completed as follows:
Design Phase: 150 calendar days
Construction Phase: 240 calendar days (to include Government time)


WORK CATEGORY: Category(ies) and Classification(s): SOA OG1, Classification I.


WORK MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 (Euro 224,750.00) and $500,000 (Euro 449,500.00)


FUNDING: This project is not funded.


SITE VISIT: A site visit will be held on 06 June 2017, 09:00 hrs. The meeting point will be at Gate #4, Via Vecchia Livornese, San Piero a Grado (Pisa).

A legible copy of the identification document(s) has to be provided. If the person(s) has\/have entry pass(es), a copy of the pass/passes has/have to be provided. Only the person(s) who has/have provided the personal data would be allowed to attend the site visit. The Guards will check the identification card at the gate. The offeror(s) not present on the list will be denied the entrance to the base. Not indicating interest as described above does not preclude the offeror from participating in this requirement. Note: Interested Parties are NOT required to attend the organized site visit in order to submit an offer.
