The project scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to remove and replace existing electric equipment within the Boathouse, this includes but is not limited to panelboards, feeders and disconnect switches. The work shall include the replacing of all receptacles and toggle switches within the Boathouse with new wiring system that meets current state and federal codes, design standards and industry best practices. The contractor shall reconnect all circuits within the Boathouse that are currently fed from the panels within the existing boathouse to new panelboards. The work is to be performed at USCG Station Fire Island, Babylon, NY (Suffolk County)


Solicitation packages will be available on or about 12 November 2019.
Tentative date for receipt of quotations is 12 December 2019 at 4:00PM.
Period of Performance: The overall period of performance is Notice to Proceed plus ninety day (90).


The applicable North American Industry Classification systems (NAICS) code is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15 Million. The estimated value of the procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment bond will be required if the contract is greater than $35,000.


The acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 13. Pursuant to FAR Part 19.5 set aside for Small Business, this solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns.
