JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Repair Aircraft Taxiway Lima Project includes demolition of approximately 6,100 SY of existing Potland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement and placement of approximately 6,300 SY of new PCC pavement using slip form paving. The pavement consists of PCC thickness greater than 12" and includes the installation of dowel bars in hardened concrete and experience installing pavement markings. The overall pavement section includes the installation of aggregate drainage and separation layers. Concrete pavement construction will be in accordance with UFGS 32 13 11 CONCRETE PAVEMENT FOR AIRFIELDS AND OTHER HEAVY-DUTY PAVEMENTS.


Acquisition Information:


This acquisition is proceeding as an 8(a) Sole Source solicitation. A letter of acceptance has been received from the Fresno SBA, new solicitation number; W91238-18-R-0078.


Estimated Magnitude per FAR 36.204 is between ($1,000,000 $5,000,000).


Estimated Period of Performance (POP) for Construction: 135 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP is estimated to be issued 10 OCT 2018.
