The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) Businesses, SBA certified HUBZone Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, and/or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses with current and relevant experience, personnel and capability to perform "Repair Aerial Port, Bldg. 19" located at the 139th AW, Rosecrans Memorial Airport, St. Joseph, MO 64503. A Brief Description of work includes: The contractor shall provide the necessary, personnel, equipment, transportation, and materials required to construct new walls for office area, restrooms and breakroom.  Most of the facility requires new flooring, ceilings, lighting and paint.  Relocate and run new lines for an existing air compressor.  Reconfigure the mechanical room piping to bring backflows to a workable elevation.  One option item will replace the main electrical distribution panel in the mechanical room.  All work performed shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations, ANG policies and regulations, and a Performance Work Statement.

 

This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal or Request for Quote and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.  Respondents will not be notified of the results of this market research.

 

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 - Commercial and Institution Building Construction.  The small business size standard is $36.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 09 July 2019, 12:00 p.m. Central. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Contractor Information Form (attached) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included.  Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract.

 

In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
