Repair, Installation and Replace Floors within Buildings, USAG Bavaria - Hohenfels, Germany
1. The resulting contract is for the repair, installation and replacement of floors, false and subfloors, screed, stair steps and stringers, as well as minor plaster, painting and tiling work. All work is to be performed within Buildings.
2. The solicitation will result in an ID/IQ contract with a guaranteed amount of 30,000.00 for the entire contract period and an estimated maximum contract value of 1,050,000.00.
3. Contract period: 1 July 2014 - 30 June 2017.
4. Thirty (30) % of the work must be performed by the prime contractor.
5. The solicitation will be issued on or about 24 March 2014 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately 23 April 2014. The solicitation will be posted at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments.
6. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the RCO Bavaria.
7. Work will be performed in Germany and contractor must comply with German law (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany).
8. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
