The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Stewart, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB), to award a single firm fixed price contract for the Renovating Kitchens areas in 30 Volar Barracks Day rooms Fort Stewart, Georgia, 31314. The work covered by this contract shall include all plant, labor and materials necessary to perform the work in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings.
Work will involve modifying and / or replacing existing laminate countertops and cabinets to allow for the installation of an electric stove, exhaust hood with light, wet chemical fire suppression system and stainless steel backsplash in existing Day Room Kitchen area. Work will require modification of fire alarm and electrical systems; installation of wet chemical fire suppression system and electrical circuiting and devices related to exhaust hood and stove
This solicitation is 100% set aside for HUB-Zone businesses under NAICS code 236220. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500.000. Contract performance time is 270 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
Solicitation Number W9124M-14-B-0008 will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. A link may be provided through FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring ASFI for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. Information regarding date and time of an organized site visit will be contained in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about August 4, 2014.

Paperless File System: MICC-Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy of each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include one (1) CD with all required documents and one (1) paper copy of each bid (1) business card.
