Renovate for Vehicle Maintenance, Building 827
This is a Solicitation Notice.
Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station has a requirement for a Construction project, Renovate for Vehicle Maintenance, Building 827, RVKQ: 18-0731
Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, parts, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required to complete the following construction project, RVKQ 18-0731, Renovate for Vehicle Maintenance, Building 827, to include the following:
- Strip and recoat epoxy floor(s)
- Clean/degrease and repaint several walls in various rooms
- Demo/Remove existing parts washer
○ Remove electrical back to disconnect
- Demo doors and install block wall
- Disassemble vehicle lifts from Building 924 and transport to building 827
- Move/Install misc. equipment from building 924 and transport to building 827
○ Tire changing machine, tire balancing machine, work benches, manual press, drill press, oil rack, pedestal grinder, welder, vidmar cabinets, and storage cabinets, transport to building 827.
○ Repair any damage from demo, to include but not limited to; remove all grout, remove/cut-off flush all anchors.
- Remove all exhaust duct, cap/seal the roof curb
- Install new engine exhaust system
- Worked will be phased so to limit the amount of downtime, the awardee may be required to submit and gain approval of a logistical plan for moving equipment from one facility to another.
- All objects that are removed, must be recycled when possible
Work will be performed at the 914th Air Refueling Wing, Niagara Falls ARS, Niagara County, NY.
Performance time is 120 calendar days.
A single Firm Fixed-Price construction contract will be awarded.
This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program.
The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000.
The NAICS code is 236220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $36,500,000.
Bid, Payment and Performance Bonds will be required.
Liquidated damages will be identified in the solicitation and placed under the proposed contract.
All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation.
The ONLY site visit is scheduled for 23 August 2019 at 9:00AM EST; Participants will meet at Building 800, room 1027 on the Niagara Falls ARS, Niagara Falls, NY
The complete solicitation will only be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. ; No paper / hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor's responsibility for downloading the RFP documents and for monitoring the website for possible amendments, any changes or updates.

Contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and have their Online Representations and Certifications completed.
