Network Contracting Office 6 intends to release a solicitation for Construction Services for the renovation of various corridors within Building 500 at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Richmond Virginia. The renovations and alterations will be completed in conformance with Government produced specifications and drawings. Work is composed of, but not limited to, demolition, abatement, painting, lighting upgrades, acoustical ceiling replacement and associated finishes for a total estimated total of an 18,000 sq. ft of corridor within bldg. 500 at the Richmond VAMC.

A Pre-Proposal Site Visit is scheduled for 15 Jul 2019 at 10:00am EDT and Potential Offerors are required to RSVP by NLT COB 11 Jul 2019 via email to keith.hunter@va.gov. Drawings/Plans shall only be made available via email on 10 Jul 2019 to those parties that RSVP. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to confirm receipt of RSVP. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to bring all necessary personnel, inclusive of subcontractors, and materials necessary to the Pre-Proposal Site Visit. The Government will NOT be providing paper copies of any solicitation, solicitation attachments or annexes, specifications, or drawings. The Government will NOT be reimbursing any costs associated with attendance or proposal preparation.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million dollars. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 10 Jul 2019 with an approximate response date of 2 Aug 2019. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204.
The solicitation will be issued on a restricted basis and will be 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award.

Potential Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number; recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. For information on how to register your company on FBO, to view or receive updates. You must register as Interested Vendor at the Fedbizopps website for solicitation. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in www.Fedbizopps.gov. ; to Receive Notification for amendments. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the Fedbizopps website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from Fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. NO paper copies of the impending solicitation will be furnished.
