Remote Real Time Verbatim Captioning Services
The Disability Resource Center at the University is seeking proposals for qualified staff to provide accurate remote real time verbatim captioning services for University students who are deaf or hard of hearing, and also to other individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing who need access to University sponsored programs. Captioning services include: academic programs ie. classroom and laboratory lectures/presentations on campus and at remote (distance) learning sites as well as for University sponsored activities and events. Students who require this service are enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and professional programs. This service is required under Federal mandates that state persons with disabilities must be provided auxiliary aids for the purpose of accessing educational programs.
