Remote Initiation System
Firm Fixed Price requirement to provide four (4) remote initiation systems for the U.S. Army Range Division located at Fort Knox, Kentucky. The system must be equal to the Battlefield Inoculation Remote Initiation System (BIRIS) consisting of: (a) 1 BIRIS transmitter complete with pouch, antenna, half wave antenna, safety key and instruction card. (b) 2-BIRIS receivers complete with antenna, antenna extension, and instruction card; (c) 6-prime receivers complete with 90 degree antenna, 1/4 wavelength antenna, pouch and instruction card; (f) 1-transit case (g) 2 VIKING STI dual shock tube initiator complete with shock tube adapters and pouch. The system must be compatable with the existing BIRIS equipment. This procurement is unrestricted. North American Industry Classification System Code is 334290. The government anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about March 5, 2009. This is an estimated date. Award will be made to the lowest price, responsive responsible offeror.
