Remediation of Unpermitted Landfill
Mandatory pre-bid meeting 02/10/2010.
The work generally consists of excavation, removal and disposal of asbestos containing waste material. The Commission has authorized that the waste shall be disposed of in an asbestos approved Class Two or Class Three landfill. All work shall conform to Federal and State laws and requirements of the approved Excavation and Disposal Plan (EDP) attached to this Manual. Contractors will backfill the excavation with suitable imported compacted fill to natural grade.
