Overhaul/Remanufacture of

C-5 Flight Control Manifolds

CAUTION:
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to remanufacture the Flight Control Manifolds for the C-5 aircraft, to include the Aileron Manifold, Upper and Lower Manifolds, Inboard and Outboard Manifolds and components. At this time the only qualified Contractor source of repair for these parts is the OEM, Parker Hannifin. 

This requirement is for remanufacture of the Flight Control Manifolds. Our requirement is for one year for FY2019, with a one year extension option for FY20 if needed. The projected quantities will be Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ's) as shown in the attached document.

The Government's need for depot level repair services/remanufacture are required in order to support 100% Program Depot Maintenance replacement in order to increase reliability and reduce and/or eliminate field failures and downed aircraft. These services will include teardown, pre-test, evaluation, procurement of components, packaging, handling, storage, transportation, as well as data collection while maintaining a prompt delivery schedule.
