8. Description: Flap drive actuator positions the flaps. Material: Steel and aluminum. Qualification Requirements are applicable and pre-contract source approval is required due to the complexity of this item. Initial Production Evaluation (IPE) may be required depending on awardee. Five Year (One Basic Year plus Four One-Year Options) Requirements contract is contemplated. All quantities are estimated.

12. Delivery: 5 EA Every 60 days After Receipt of Order or Reparables, Whichever is Later. Five year Requirements contract will be solicited, with 1 Basic Year and 4 Option Years.
13. Qualification Requirements apply. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICATION.

15. UID Note to Contractor: If unit price of item (not remanufacture cost) exceeds $5,000, then UID requirements will apply.

Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
