Relocate Echo Bay Water Intake Barge for Lake Mead National Recreation Area (Lake Mead NRA).
The purpose of amendment 6 is to extend the proposal due date from Friday, July 26, 2019 at 12:00 PM to Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 12:00 PM PST.
Authority: NPS is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-Solicitation Notice.
Description: NPS requires services from a contractor with the experience and technical capability to relocate Echo Bay's Water Intake Barge to allow for drinking water production to a lake elevation of 1,000' above sea level.
Place of Performance: Echo Bay; approximate coordinate: 36d18'53.94"N114d24'34.20"W, at Lake Mead NRA.
Competitive Acquisition: It is anticipated that this will be a competitive acquisition set-aside for small business participation.
Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract.
Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is ninety days from the notice to proceed (NTP) date.
Release of the Solicitation: It is anticipated that the release of Solicitation No. 140P8119R0013 is to be released around June 17, 2019. Should there be any issues arising for this solicitation, the Contracting Officer will provide an update via https://www.fbo.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net.
