This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quote (RFQ) No. VA250-17-Q-0760. This solicitation closes on July 31, 2017 at 3pm ET.
The Network 10 Contracting Office intends to solicit quotes from contractors to shall furnish all materials and labor necessary to provide collection and removal of regulated biohazardous medical waste at the Department of Veterans Affairs, St. Joseph County VA Clinic (SJCVAC) located at 1540 Trinity Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545 for the period of September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2018; four (4) one-year pre-priced option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government.
Interested contractors shall be responsible for downloading copies of solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the proposal submission process.
NAICS Code is 562211, and Size Standard is $38.5 Million. The solicitation will be issued as full and open competition SDVOSB/VOSB set aside. All responsible sources may submit quotes which shall be considered by the Agency. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) data base at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit that SAM website and register as soon as possible to avoid delays should they be selected for a contract award. Questions concerning this announcement shall be directed to the Contracting Officer using the e-mail link provided no later than July 24, 2017 at 3pm ET.
