Regional Transit Information System (RTIS) Contractor
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) invites your firm to submit a
proposal to operate, maintain and further develop the Regional Transit Information
System (RTIS). The RTIS was created by MTC, in cooperation with the Bay Areas
transit agencies, to collect, organize and disseminate schedule, route and fare
information for the public transit providers in the Bay Area through 511/511.org. The
selected firm will operate and maintain the RTIS, replace the existing transit trip
planning software, improve the transit agency data in the RTIS and further develop
elements of the RTIS.
