Refuse Service for the City of Delano
The City of Delano contracts, on a exclusive residential annual basis, for the disposal of waste and refuse, recyclable materials, and general yard and landscape waste (herein "waste"). Delano has approximately 1,900 residential properties and over eight apartment buildings.
The contractor is responsible for collecting waste on a weekly basis on a day to be determined by the City Council. Waste collection is limited to 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The contractor is responsible for billing residents individually, once per quarter. The contractor is responsible for providing 35, 65 and 95 gallon garbage containers with wheels and an adequate recycling container at no charge to the residents. Recycling must be collected at no extra charge to the residents of the community.
