The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Woods Hole, MA is soliciting quotes for Refuse Removal Services for NEFSC Milford, CT location. Provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform the following General Requirements: Refuse Removal and Single Stream Recycling Removal Services. Period of Performance: Base Year plus four (4) option years.

The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 562111 with a size standard of $38.5M. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered.


The solicitation will issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, effective January 13, 2017. RFQ will be available on or about August 12, 2016, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation number is EE133-F-17-RQ-0137; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on February 8, 2017. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm -fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition). All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
