Refurbished Refuse/Garbage Trucks
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is P14PS01189 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ).The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-73. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336211 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside, and only qualified offerors may submit bids.
Grand Canyon National Park intends to purchase fully refurbished refuse collection equipment to replace aging equipment currently in service. Quotes are being sought for two (2) fully refurbished and reconditioned front-loading refuse trucks and one (1) non-cdl satellite rear or side loading packer truck for daily use. Grand Canyon National Park will be trading in three front-loading units. These units have been owned, serviced, and operated by NPS personnel only. All three units are in running and working condition.
