The Governors Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) for Georgia will accept proposals through January 31, 2007 to redesign and provide maintenance for its website. The website will serve as a portal to GCDD's values, programs and events, members and constituents, research and action. The goal of the Councils website is to communicate the Councils work and benefits clearly and accessibly to a diverse audience of people with disabilities, family members, businesses, the media, elected officials and policymakers, and the general. GCDD is looking for a state of the art, fully accessible, user-friendly website which will allow for quick, easy online editing of content, online scheduling and dynamic delivery of information. The website should be the primary place for Georgians with disabilities to get advocacy, policy and program information. The website should become a reliable resource for media to gather topical information about disability issues and frequent updates on Council activities, program initiatives and special events.
