Recreational Capacity Study
This solicitation is for the assessment and reporting of peak visitor use thresholds at the State Park. The primary goal of the Study is the determination of a park carrying capacity through the careful evaluation of social, spatial, facility, and ecological factors. This study should result in the definition of a desired visitor experience which is sustainable within the limits of an existing developed area. A secondary goal of this project is to employ general visitor and boater use surveys in order to compile data for use in visitation formulas. Project deliverables must include a detailed report of survey data and set of management recommendations geared towards meeting stated capacity thresholds.
