Recovery Centers For Mental Health Consumers
The Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) provides for new and expanded County mental health services for adults who have a serious mental illness. This Request for Proposal is for operation of Recovery Centers within Mendocino County. The Centers purpose is to assure that adults with serious mental illness who are also underserved or unserved by County Mental Health, and who are also homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless, incarcerated, dual-diagnosed, and/or stepping down from a higher, more restrictive level of care have a peer support environment in which to access mental health recovery model programs.
