Records Management and Shredding, Off-Site

The County has between 9,000 and 9,500 boxes of records that will need to be relocated to offsite storage. These boxes are a mixture of 1.2 and 2.4 cubic feet. There are between 450 and 500 permanent records in 2.4 cubic feet boxes. It is the intent of the County to have the other records with a definite retention deadline to remain in the current 2.4 cubic feet boxes until their retention period expires; then they will be destroyed.
