Real Estate Services Baseline Assesment
The Santa Clara Valley Water District (District) is the water resources management agency meeting
watershed stewardship needs of and providing wholesale water supply to nearly 1.8 million
residents of Santa Clara County.
The District is seeking qualied consultants for a project to assess the District's Real Estate Services
Unit's overall performance and develop recommendations and a plan for improvement. Qualifying
consultants will have demonstrated and veriable experience and expertise in benchmarking best
practices of real estate units of other agencies, assessing and conducting a gap analysis,
recommending improvements and developing a detailed workplan for improving all aspects of the
District's Real Estate Services program.
All proposals must be submitted electronically to the District's Contract Administrative System (CAS)
by 3 pm on the date specied in the RFP. Prior to submitting proposals, all rms must have an
established or newly created account in CAS. This can be achieved by going to
http://cas.valleywater.org and following the instructions on creating an account. During account
creation, select the expertise code RE10 - Real Estate Negotiation & Acquisition, and add contact
information as necessary.
