This is professional real estate related work involved in the relocation of occupants, valuation, purchase, lease, management and sale of City real property and rights-of-way.
Relocation services must be in conformance with the Federal Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Act. Negotiating the acquisition and management of City real property including rights-of-way, easements, leases and exchanges; property management; land inventory; title, and lease research; and extensive public contact. Work includes reviewing deeds, titles, offers for purchase, lease agreements and related documents, preparing purchase agreements, consent forms, legal descriptions and leases and assisting in closing property acquisitions or dispositions. Management of commercial and residential properties will also be required. Contract management of appraisal firms is also required.
