Based on current distressed market conditions in the real estate industry, the State is seeking assistance to pro-actively audit brokerages throughout the State. The mismanagement of property management, trust accounts, short-sale and REO (Real Estate Owned) transactions are just a few examples of areas of concern and consequently need to be addressed.
