AMENDMENT 002. This is an amendment to a previously synopsized Request for Quotes for the National Park Service, Olympic National Park, for a contractor to re-roof the 2-Story Administration Building, a historic structure at park headquarters in Port Angeles, WA. Work consists of removal/disposal of existing cedar shakes, replacing underlayment paper, ice and water membrane, flashing, and installing new cedar shakes. This amendment no. 002 is necessary to make the following changes:

(1) Add Standard Form 30, Amendment 002 form, as a new attachment to this solicitation, incorporated as Attachment no. 9.

(2) The "Terms-Conditions" document is revised and incorporated into this solicitation as Attachment no. 10 dated 8/16/19. This revised version shall replace the previous version that was Attachment no. 7 dated 8/13/19. What changed: (a) Section B, Price Schedule, is revised to add Option B for providing a price for algae-resistant cedar shakes, and for the purpose of evaluating quotes since there are lump sum items, a line was added to the price schedule for Quoters to provide the total number of squares for shakes, and unit price per square; and (b) Section J, List of Attachments, is updated to show all current solicitation attachments.

(3) Site Visit occurred as-scheduled, on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 1pm. Site visit notes are incorporated into this solicitation as a new attachment, Attachment no. 11.

REMINDER: Quotes are still due by 4:30pm (PST) on August 30, 2019. Refer to Section L and M of Attachment no. 10, Revised Terms-Conditions, for full details of what to include in quote package.
