Re Entry Substance Abuse Assessments
The States is seeking a contractor to provide substance abuse assessments to inmates scheduled to transition to community placement. The contractor must be a certified alcohol and drug counselor and must use the Addiction Severity Index and ASAM criteria to provide treatment recommendations which include recommended level of care. The applicant may also provide short term case management services to facilitate the referral and admission to the community provider.
