Railroad Pedestrian Underpass

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking statements of interest from qualified
design professionals to provide advance planning services for a new railroad pedestrian underpass
located at the southern end of the campus near the intersection of Forest Street and Oakland
Avenue. This new pedestrian structure will cross under the North Carolina Railroad corridor to
facilitate safer pedestrian and bicycle connections between the core of the main campus and the
West Lee Street area of Greensboro. Interested firms should have extensive experience in the
design of railroad pedestrian grade separation structures.
