This Request for Proposals (RFP) provides to those interested in submitting proposals (“Offerors”) the Department's consideration to satisfy a need for a “Rail Transit Safety Review Program”. The Selected Offeror for this project will prepare and submit proposals to improve safety and reduce the potential for accidents through the evaluation of System Safety Program Plans (SSPP) and associated documentation, and the performance of SSPP compliance audits to identify, evaluate and resolve potential hazards. Proposals must be received by the Issuing Office by the date and time prescribed in the RFP Calendar of Events. Interested Offerors may download the RFP from this site.
