Rail Planning & Engineering Services
The purpose of this procurement is to select a firm for a three-year task order agreement to assist the Department with transportation planning and engineering support related to passenger, commuter, and freight railroad services. The selected consultant should be able to perform long range and short term rail plans, transportation modeling, transit demand analysis, and public outreach. The selected consultant should possess a good understanding of passenger and freight railroad and public transit operations in general; of conditions in the railroad and transit industries, the Northeast Rail Corridor in the region, and the nation.
