Radio and Advanced Wireless Technologies
The Department of Water and Power is requesting proposals from
qualified and experienced consulting firm(s) (Consultant) who are interested in providing
professional and technical services for the future development of the LADWPs Radio and
Advanced Wireless Technologies.
The services of work for this RFP are divided into two regions, each with their own
consideration to future radio systems development and design.
1. Region 1 Los Angeles Basin
a) 900 MHz simulcast radio system
b) Low Band radio system
c) Very High Frequency (VHF) radio system
d) Ultra High Frequency (UHF) radio system
e) Los Angeles Regional Interoperable Communications System
f) Advanced Wireless Technology
2. Region 2 Owens Valley
a) UHF radio system
b) Advanced Wireless Technology
c) Los Angeles Regional Interoperable Communications System
