Radio Tether Package
The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with PAR Government, 421 Ridge Street, Rome, NY 13440 to provide Two (2) GVTether-Gen V device packages. The GV Tether provides a tactical communications interface for expeditionary operators as well as a communications interface to receive information that improves situational awareness. PAR Government is the only source that provides a hardware device that will allow an android based hardware device to plug into a tactical radio and seamlessly transmit the data to/from the radio. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within fourteen (14) days after the publication of this solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 334419.
