Radio In-Building Coverage Installation
Mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 9:00am on 4/27/09 at H. Allen Hight Learning Center, 3200 N. Park Dr., Sacramento, CA 95835. This project solicits proposals from qualifed vendors to install a bidirectional amplifier (BDA) system, sometimes referred to as signal boosters in H Allen Hight Learning Center where in-building radio communications is very poor or nonexistent. Since Police, Fire and Emergency Medical agencies in the Sacramento area all use the Sacramento Regional Radio Communications System (SRRCS) 800 MHz system, the BDA will benefit all emergency responding agencies utilizing 800 MHz across the board. The 800 MHz system is equipped with 49 NPSPAC frequencies. There are currently 14,500 users on the system. The BDA will serve all of them plus other agencies utilizing 800 MHz in any kind of a disaster or incident including civil unrest, fire flood or medical.
