Radar Repeater/Target Generator
The Virginia Contracting Activity, Missile and Space Intelligence Center Contracting Office, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama intends to purchase commercial equipment as listed in the attached requirements list. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information attached to this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested at this time and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 105-0270-14-Z and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All prospective Offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
The Government intends to award one firm-fixed price purchase order to the Offeror that submits the lowest-price-technically acceptable quote. The small business size standard is 750 employees. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511.
SHIPPING / DELIVERY:
Shipping/Delivery must be free on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.), as soon as possible after Purchase Order award. Place of Delivery will be MSIC facilities.
The attached FAR and DFARs provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: see attachment titled Clauses.
