RX 10029172 - Los Angeles Fire Department Regulation 4 Testing, Repair and Certification Services at LAX
Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is soliciting written Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from contractors qualified to perform Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Regulation 4 testing, repair, and certification services at all terminals at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
It is the intention of LAWA to establish a list of qualified contractors. All prospective contractors must have sufficient qualified personnel to accomplish the services required by LAWA. Only field technicians who are able to clear the LAWA administered background check and related security tests and are in possession of a valid LAX Security Badge will be allowed to work on the projects. Employees working in some terminals will be required to obtain additional security clearance from U.S. Customs.
