Rotary Lobe Pumps

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, Oregon, expects to solicit a contract for the supply of nineteen(19)rotary lobe pump skid assemblies and suction and discharge hose assemblies for Bonneville Powerhouse 2 main unit head cover pumps, plus four(4)rebuild kits. Furnish an additional five (5) rotary lobe pump skid assemblies and suction and discharge hose assemblies for Bonneville Powerhouse 2 fish unit head cover pumps, to include two (2) rebuild kits. The proposed project is set aside for Small Businesses exclusively, and will be a competitive, LPTA, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract.
In addition to the supply of the rotary lobe pump, associated spares, and rebuild kits, all pumps must include a 1 year "commercial" wear warranty that begins when the pumps are put into service and a four (4) year workmanship warranty that begins when the pumps arrive on-site. The wear warranty will cover needed replacements of the wear plates, lobes, pump housings, and seals during the warranty window. The workmanship warranty will cover needed replacements of major component parts that are found to be functioning abnormally due to defective machining, incorrect material, or improper assembly during the warranty window. The workmanship warranty also includes all spare parts that are anticipated to be need during the extended time, calculated based upon the number of hours the pumps are in use, if they are in use, or a general total time that has passed, if they are being stored.
