ROS Underwater Camera System
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL (NSWC PCS) intends to award a firm fixed Price Small Purchase order to Remote Ocean Systems (ROS), 5618 Copley Drive, San Diego,CA to acquire ROS underwater lights, cameras, and associated cabling to provide greater capability of the unmanned diving operations inside the unmanned hyperbaric chambers. This action is not suitable for competition as the equipment being acquired is new equipment to meet testing requirements of unmanned diving operations at NSWC PCD. The ROS system is the only equipment compatible with the current installed hardware and software control system. Using alternative equipment would prove costly in time and dollars to the government and to the mission. Use of another system may change or introduce new parameters that may be harmful to all diving systems tested and maintained at NSWC PCD. Therefore, it is imperative that this particular brand of equipment is purchased. The items being acquired are: 3 each Underwater Rotators R-10FB AL 24VDC RS485 OIL, 2 each Underwater Positioners, P20 A1/Anode OIL 24 VDC RS-485 LPMBH-4, four each Controller Assembies for ROVer Camera CTRL ASSY, ROVER CAM W/DIMMABLE LED LIGHTS; one each Spectator Color Camera with 36:1 Zoom Ti, Spectator, TI 4KM 36:1 NTSC RS485 LPMBH-6, four each C200 Minature Color + Low Light Cameras C200, Color+Low light, 400 M, A1, NTSC, BH-4-MP, three each Cables for light w/RMG-3 Connector, CBL ASSY 20 T SNGL LGT UNTERM, three each cables for camera w BH-4 20 feet, CBL ASSY 20FT IL-4-FS UNTERM, Shipping charges. Delivery will be made to Navy Experimental Diving Unit, Panama City, FL 32407. Award will be made on or about Aug 28, 2017. Award will be based on a fair and reasonable offer and past performance.
