POST-WIDE ROOFING MAINTENANCE/REPAIR/RECONSTRUCTION/DEMO/REPLACEMENT
This is a pre-solicitation notice. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a Solicitation for a re-compete of the Post-Wide Roofing Maintenance, Repair, Reconstruction, Demolition, Replacement, and/or Installation of a wide variety of roofing systems. All work will be performed at the Aberdeen or Edgewood Areas of Aberdeen, Maryland. The total value of this requirement for base and four (4) option years is estimated to be $50-$70 million. The Government intends to require bonding capability of approximately $10 million starting out per year. The requirement will be solicited as a competitive 8(a) set-aside in accordance with the authorities granted by the Small Business Administration and FAR Part 19. All qualified 8(a) small business shall be registered under the Dynamic Small Business Search Engine located at http://dsbs.sba.gov/dsbs/search/dsp_dsbs.cfm. The Government intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery Requirement-type Contract with task orders issued on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis through the ordering period of the contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 January 2019 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation number is W56ZTN-19-R-0001; hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Potential offerors must monitor FebBizOpps for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. After the issuance of the solicitation, the Government intends to hold a site visit at APG for prospective offerors. The site visit time, date, and instructions for attendance will be announced by the issuance of an Amendment to the solicitation.
The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 238160 - Roofing Contractors and the size standard is $15 million. The Statement of Work, applicable specifications, and evaluation criteria will be included in the solicitation or as an attachment to it. The Government may release a draft documents prior to the release of the solicitation at its discretion. All qualified 8(a) certified companies are invited to submit proposals which will be considered by ACC-APG. All technical data required to respond to the solicitation will be furnished as part of the solicitation. Important Notice: Offerors are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Offerors must be registered under the NAICS code 238160. Registration in the SAM database can be accomplished at the website http://www.sam.gov. This is NOT the actual solicitation. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE HONORED.
